What do I need to know?

We do not accept cash. Payment is required when making reservations. You must arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled start time and if you arrive after the scheduled start time the room will have to start without you. Canceling or rescheduling must be done at least 24 hours in advance. If you're under 18 you must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 5 are not allowed in the rooms.

What happens if I am late?

The rooms must start ON TIME! Your group should be there 15 minutes before your scheduled start time so we can go over the rules and game scenario. If you are going to be late and you call ahead of time we will do our best to accommodate you depending on your situation. However, we will be forced to take time away from your game time based on how late you are or you will be required to reschedule. We need to have time to get the room ready for the following group so they are able to start at the time they have scheduled.

Do I have to go into the room with my kids?

Yes, but children under 5 are not allowed in the rooms. Anyone under 18 must have an adult in the room with them. That person must be associated with the under age person in some way meaning going into the room with another group of people that you don't know who is over 18 won't work. Someone needs to be in the room who is responsible for the under age person.

Are we really locked in the room?

No. For safety reasons we are not allowed to really lock the door to the room. As much as we believe this would add to the fun we would not pass building inspection if the players were in a locked room. You will be working to find the symbolic skeleton key along with one or more additional objectives to complete the room.

Do I need to be a genius to solve the puzzles in the room?

No of course not. We work hard to make sure the room is set up so that anyone can enjoy the experience. It will be difficult though since it isn't fun if it's too easy. For some it may be easy and some it will be very difficult but that's the nature of any game.

How big are the rooms?

Our rooms are approximately 10ft x 13ft. They seem small but people usually don't mind and there is a lot to do before you can complete the game.

Do I need to make reservations in advance?

It is recommended you make reservations in advance so that you don't show up to find out there are no available sessions. But if you do come in and there are spots available we will definitely accommodate you.

Will we be in the room with people we don't know?

Yes unless you pay to reserve the entire room. But don't be nervous or worried because this is where half the fun is! This is a great way to meet people and work together to complete these challenges.

What is the room limit?

The room limit is 8. If you purchase a private room you may bring up to 10 people total. However, our rooms are smaller and the rooms may feel a bit crowed with 10 people.

Do these rooms have live actors that will scare us or put hands on us?

No. So far our rooms do not include live actors and if we ever decide to include actors we will make it very clear that actors are involved. For now we don't plan on using live actors for our rooms.

Do you have to be a certain age to be able to figure out how to solve the clues?

No. This is the best part of working with a team of people. Everyone thinks differently and you may be surprised what kids can think of that us older people don't. With that being said experience usually wins out. Keep in mind when making reservations that these rooms can be difficult for kids.

Are pictures or video allowed to be taken inside the room?

We don't want the fun being spoiled for others so we won't allow any pictures or video to be taken in the room.
